This is a 16-hour long course conducted over 2 days, which trains participants in a number of key first aid skills, as well as the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). For those interested in joining M-SERT, this course provides the minimum level of certification needed for recruitment. For more information, visit the Canadian Red Cross factsheet here.
Upon completion, the Canadian Red Cross issues a certification valid for 3 years.

How To Register
If you are interested in participating in one of our courses, come by our office in the William Shatner University Centre at 3480 Rue McTavish, Room 430 to register between 10;00 and 17:00, M-F. Course registration and payment is only available in-person.

M-SERT only accepts cash and cheques for course payments. Cheques should be made payable to ‘The Student Society of McGill University'.
